Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 15, at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, Decatur. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Monday, March 14, at the funeral home. Burial will be in North Fork Cemetery, Decatur, with military rites conducted by the Macon County Honor Guard.Memorials may be made to American Heart Association or DMH Hospice.Earl was born on August 14, 1931, in Decatur, the son of Phineas Ernest and Donna Belle (Barnett) Moore. He married Edna Joanne Jacobs on June 2, 1956.Earl was the original developer and past president of Macon County Landfill. He retired in 1999 after over 50 years owning and operating Earl Moore Disposal. Earl was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran, serving during the Korean Conflict.Surviving are his wife of 54 years, Joanne of Decatur; son Edward Ed Moore and wife Kathy of Decatur, IL, David A. Moore and wife Kim of Maroa, IL, Nancy J. Shields and husband John of Harristown, IL, Jill A. Koehler and husband Joe of Decatur, IL; grandchildren Shawn Moore, Ryan Moore, Whitney Moore, Joanie Sam Dixson, Wade Shields, Morgan Shields, Nicole Eaton, Brooke Cliff Tucker, Brandon Koehler, and CJ Koehler; sisters Iola Beck, Rosella Butler, both of Decatur, Donna White of Moweaqua, IL and faithful friend dog Murphy Willie Bird. Earl was preceded in death by his parents, brother Samuel Moore and brother-in-law James G. Beck. "
