E. Ribordy

E. Virginia Ribordy, 82, of Latham, IL, passed away 1:13 a.m., Thursday, September 4, 2014, at Hickory Point Christian Village, Forsyth, IL. Visitation will be 1:30 to 3:00 p.m., Saturday, September 6, 2014, at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, Decatur, IL, followed by private family graveside services at Lake Bank Cemetery, Latham, IL. Virginia was born December 2, 1931 in Pontiac, IL, the daughter of Clarence E. and Elizabeth Jane Marie (Stewart) Holdridge. She married Louis Ribordy on June 3, 1950 in Pontiac, IL and he preceded her in death on October 24, 2007. Virginia devoted her life to raising her family. She enjoyed antiquing, flea markets and especially the Christmas season. For several years, she operated the "Attic Drop-outs" store in Latham. She is survived by her children Karen (Bruce) Nims of Decatur, IL, Lynn (Gary) Letterly of Latham, Clark (Della) Ribordy of Louisburg, KS; grandchildren Becky (Mike) Stubblefield, Aaron and Kevin Letterly, Brook, Mesa and Dalton Ribordy; great granddaughters Breanna and Kira Stubblefield; and one brother Clarence Holdridge, Minneola, FL. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband Louis. "
