Funeral services will be 2:30 P.M., Monday, May 4, 2009, at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, Decatur, IL. Visitation will be 5 to 7 P.M., Sunday, May 3, 2009, at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home. Burial will be in Macon County Memorial Park, Harristown, IL.In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to DMH Hospice or American Cancer Society.Doug was born in Decatur, February 19, 1951 to Dwain B. Smalley and Madeline M. (French) Smalley. Doug married Anne, his life long love on November 10, 1973. He enjoyed fishing with his brothers and golfing with friends and his sons. Doug was a devoted father and loving brother and very proud grandpa to Ian. He was a friend to everyone he knew. Doug worked as a union carpenter and was a member of Carpenters Local 742 for 30 years. He is survived by his wife Anne of Decatur, IL; sons Chan (Beth) Smalley, Beau (Jessie) Smalley, all of Mt. Zion, IL; grandchild Ian Smalley of Mt.
