Douglas C. Copeland, 68, of Cerro Gordo, passed away July 17, 2022.
Graveside service will be 1:00 PM, Wednesday, July 27, 2022 at Cerro Gordo Cemetery. Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, Cerro Gordo, is assisting the family.
Doug was born July 15, 1954 in Decatur, the son of Donald and Margaret (Fisher) Copeland. He loved country cruising and enjoyed listening to Classic Rock Music.
He is survived by his siblings: Linda (Doug) Forbes of Two Rivers, WI, Donald “Doot” Copeland of Decatur, Tina Krigbaum of Decatur, and Joe Copeland of Robinson; nieces and nephews: Melissa Mack of Decatur, Chistopher Copeland of Decatur, Jason Copeland of Decatur, Sarah Dyer of Texas, Brandon Copeland of Decatur, Casey Copeland of Decatur, Scotty Copeland of Decatur, Thomas Krigbaum of Illinois, Breanne Krigbaum of Missouri, Amy Copeland of Robinson and Wade Copeland of Robinson; many great-nieces and nephews and his best buddy, Gary Richardson of Cerro Gordo.
Doug was preceded in death by his parents; and brothers: Daniel and Scott Copeland.
The family wishes to extend a special thank-you to cousin, Carol Reynolds for the love and care she gave to Doug.
