Doug Miller, age 77, of West Lafayette, Indiana, and formerly of Decatur, Illinois, passed away on June 6, 2025.

After months of fighting cancer, Doug has finally won his battle against lung cancer and now sits at the feet of Jesus. He was born to Les and Betty Miller on July 31, 1947, who greeted him in Heaven along with his step-mother, Shirley Miller.

A graveside service will be 11:00 AM, Friday, June 13, 2025 at Macon County Memorial Park, 5700 W Main St, Decatur, IL.  Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, Decatur is assisting the family.

Doug lived his best life with his soulmate, Sandy, who survives. They were married on September 12, 1998.  Other survivors include daughter, Tina McLaughlin (John) of Farmersburg, Indiana; daughter Lori Miller (Ryan Meier) of Wentzville, MO;  his only son,  Josh Miller (Holly Robinson) of Decatur, Illinois;  his stepchildren, whom he loved like his own children, Angela Beck, of West Lafayette, Indiana and James Beck of Houston, Texas, brothers Greg Miller (Jan) of Mt. Zion, Les Miller (Lee) of Moweaqua, Mark Miller (Lucille) of Winchester, Illinois, and sister Mila Cupp of Decatur, Illinois,  step-sisters,  Linda Gilbert of Mt. Doug’s greatest love and joy is his wife, Sandy, and all of his family and dear friends. Later in life, Doug found his faith and embraced the Lord. He volunteered at church, where he helped others. Doug was a man of all trades, and there wasn’t anything he couldn’t do.  He was great working with his hands, enjoyed working on things, and fixing things.  If Doug couldn’t fix it, it simply couldn’t be fixed.
