Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P. M., Wednesday, March 2, 2011 Brintlinger & Earl Funeral Home, where friends may call one hour before service. Burial will be at Fairlawn Cemetery, Decatur, IL. Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home are handling the arrangements. Memorials may be made to the First United Methodist Church of Decatur, 201 W. North St., Decatur, IL.Mrs. Squires was born July 5, 1925, in Herrick, IL., the daughter of the late Brady and Easter ( Pickett ) Sanders, She married Arthur Squires, June 27, 1948 who preceded her in death Dec. 28, 1994.She was a graduate of Ramsey High School and a retired homemaker. She volunteered for the local Kiwanianne Club of Decatur, Decatur Memorial Hospital Auxiliary and the D.M.H. Thrift Shop retail store. Mrs. Squires was a 60 plus year member of the First United Methodist Church of Decatur.Mrs. Squires was preceded in death by her siblings, Ethel ( Frailey ) Hutchings of Decatur, IL., Roy Frailey of Peoria, IL.; Mary (Williams ) Clay of Yuma, Arizona; and Lowell Williams. She is survived by a niece Sharon Bergren of Green Valley, Arizona ; her three sons, Charles ( wife Marla ) of Louisville, Kentucky; Timothy ( wife Krista ) of Mt. Auburn, IL., and Randy ( wife Maureen ) of Springfield, IL., five grandchildren and one great-grandson. "
