Dorothy G. (Cox) Orr, 88, of Decatur, IL, died 12:46 A.M., Thursday, September 20, 2012, at Hickory Point Christian Village, Forsyth, IL. Graveside services will be 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, September 25, 2012, at McLean Cemetery, McLean, IL, with Pastor Todd Tuggle officiating. Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, Decatur, IL, will be handling the arrangements. Memorials may be made to DMH Hospice, Northeast Community Fund, 825 N. Dorothy was born September 9, 1924, in Stanford, IL, the daughter of James Albert and Irene Frances (Trott) Cox. She married Loren Pannier on February 16, 1946 and he preceded her in death. She later married Homer Orr on March 23, 1987 and he preceded her in death on March 10, 1996. Dorothy was currently a member of Hidden Valley Community Church and was affiliated with the Lutheran Church most of her life. She is survived by her children Kristine Batchelder and husband David of Warrensburg, IL, Janet Mitchell and husband Everett of Decatur, IL, Jeannette Oliver and husband Roger of Decatur, IL; 7 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
