Dorothy Louise "Dottie" Van Horn, 65, of Cerro Gordo, IL, died 9:09 P.M., Thursday, December 13, 2012, at St. Mary's Hospital, Decatur, IL. Funeral Mass will be 11:00 A.M., Saturday, December 22, 2012, at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, with visitation one hour prior to services at the church. Burial will be in LaPlace Cemetery, LaPlace, IL. Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home will be handling the arrangements. Memorials may be made to Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church or Susan G. Komen, For the Cure, Attn: Donor Services, P.O. Box 650309, Dallas, TX 75265-0309. Dottie was born February 9, 1947, the daughter of George Frank and Dorothy Louise (Sutton) Sulwer. She married Warren M. Van Horn on October 10, 1964 in Decatur, IL. He preceded her in death on July 17, 2009. She is survived by her daughter Trenda (Darin) Curran of Sugar Hill, GA; grandchildren Zachary, Noah, and Miranda; sisters Elizabeth "Betty" Conour of Mt. Zion, IL, Helen Sulwer of Cerro Gordo, IL, Mary Ann (Ed) Lutes of Forsyth, IL; brothers Louis (Carol) Sulwer of Oakley, IL, Mike (Carol) Sulwer of St. Louis, MO; and special friends Mary Jo and Bill Hammer of Decatur, IL. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brothers George "Sonny", and Joe, and sister Cindy. "
