Dorothy Jeannette Brady of McKinney, Texas, formerly of Decatur, passed away at 8:38 am on February 21, 2026.

Graveside Memorial will be held at Calvary Cemetery in Decatur, Illinois on April 18, 2026, at 10:00 am. Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home is handling the local arrangements.

Dorothy Jeannette was born on April 5, 1929, in Decatur, Illinois, the daughter of Harold Vincent and Kathryne Irene Wayne Rodgers.

She was a member of St. Jude Catholic Church in Allen, Texas.

Surviving are her daughters Maura Brady, Becky Brady, Jill Hampton, Micky Helmick & Kara Smalley and Sister Donna Von De Bur.

She is also beloved by 13 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, 4 great-great grandchildren and by many cousins, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, an infant son Timothy, twin sister Jeannine, Brother John & sisters Mary and Marjie.
