Dorothea Babb

Graveside services will be 10:00 A.M. Friday, July 11, at Macon County Memorial Park, Harristown.Memorials may be made to the First Christian Church.Mrs. Babb was born September 18, 1915, in Mt. Pulaski, the daughter of Roy and Pearl (McVey) Toole. She had lived in Decatur since 1923. She was employed by Mueller Company and by Carson Pirie Scott & Company, was active in PTA, and was an adult officer in Jobs Daughters. She was previously a member of Grace United Methodist Church and was most recently a member of First Christian Church. She was married on December 16, 1949, to James J. Babb who preceded her in death on June 22, 1981. She is survived by her daughter Judy Kay Inman of Decatur; grandson Jason Inman of Oregon; granddaughter Kelly Lee of Decatur; great-grandson Jakob Helm of Decatur; brother Don Toole of Elgin; sister Betty Kvetko of Decatur; several nieces and nephews.
