Doris Williams, 94, a long time resident of Decatur, Illinois died peacefully, surrounded by family, Monday the 21st of March at St. Mary’s Hospital. Brintlinger and Earl are handling the arrangements.Born January 6, 1923 in London, Doris married Harry Williams, an American soldier serving in England, in 1944. She moved to the US in 1946. Doris worked for Venture Department Stores at the time of her retirement.She is survived by her two sons (Barrie, Mark), 6 grandchildren (Michael, Steve, Shana, Jennifer, Ian, Colin), and 6 great-grand children (Emily, Brandon, Brittany, Aiden, Claire, Aria). She was preceded in death by her husband Harry. They were married for 54 years.Memorial gifts may be made to St Jude Children’s Hospital. "
