Doris Stout

Doris J. Stout, 87, of Decatur, died 9:25 P.M. Sunday, July 9, 2017, at St. Mary’s Hospital. Funeral services will be 10:00 A.M. Friday, July 14, 2017, at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral home. The visitation will be 5-7 P.M. Thursday, July 13, at the funeral home. Burial will be in Wheeler Cemetery, Decatur.Doris was born July 1, 1930, in Casey, IL, the daughter of Vyron and Faye (Jackson) Wheeler. She married Charles E. Stout in Milmine, IL, on July 6, 1947. He preceded her in death August 1, 2005. Doris was an independent insurance agent for over 40 years. She was also a member of Boiling Springs Church of God.Doris is survived by her children: Judy Lane and husband Charles, Charles Robert Stout and wife Tamara, and David R. Stout and wife Donna, all of Decatur; grandchildren: Jenna Lane, Jessica Dooley and husband Joel, Nick Lane and Michelle, Candace Damon and husband Brian, Elizabeth Allyn and Daniel, and Amanda Engleman and husband Tim; seven great grandchildren and many cherished nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, five brothers, and one sister. "
