Doris Stollard

Doris C. Stollard was born October 3, 1928 in Joliet, IL and resided in Elburn, IL, Doris died peacefully at home on Sunday, June 8, 2014. She was 85. Doris was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend who always wore a smile on her face. After her husband's (James)untimely death in 1983, Doris went back to school, back to work, and ultimately ran a successful secretarial service until her retirement. In her later years, her greatest joys were spending time with her children, grand-children and great grandchildren. Doris is survived by her three children: Tina (Darrell) Dudzik of Phoenix, AZ; Jeffrey (Lisa)Stollard of Elburn, IL; and Jim Stollard of Jacksonville, IL. She is also survived by four grandchildren: Stephanie Lenderman, Jim Dudzik, Nick and Mike Stollard. Also surviving are her three great-grandchildren: Alexis, Kylee and Cash Lenderman. Doris is survived by one sister Marion (William) Pollack of Wilmington, IL. She was Aunt to many and a loving, caring friend to all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her husband James, parents Loren and Zelda Carver and her brother George Carver. Private funeral services will be held June 19, 2014 at Graceland Cemetery in Decatur, IL. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Brintlinger and Earl, Decatur, IL. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to The American Heart Association. "
