She retired from the State of Illinois, working as a clerk in the Treasury Dept. Doris loved to read the Bible and had worn out more than a few Bibles. She was a member of Seventh Day Adventist Church.She is survived by her sister Mary Steele of Decatur, IL; cousins Joyce Witmer of CA, Mary Joan Reeves of FL, Judith Comstock of TX, Eugene Fortner of AZ.She was preceded in death by her parents.Condolences may be left to the family at www.brintlingerandearl.com.
