Doris Ellen Moeller, nee Watts, 93, of Decatur, IL, passed away Thursday, May 30, 2019. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 5, 2019 at 11:00am at Life Foursquare Church with a visitation one hour prior to the services. Burial will be in Boiling Springs Cemetery; Decatur, IL. Memorials may be given to Life Foursquare Church. Doris was born May 28, 1926, at home in Decatur, to Noble and Ethel Watts. She married Fred G. Moeller on May 5, 1973. Doris was preceded in death by her daughter Sandra Inman and stepson Doug Moeller. Survivors include her husband Fred; siblings Betty Watts, Carol Davidson, Noble Watts, and Alvin Watts; children Steve (Brenda) Runion, Judy (Craig) Brownfield and Teresa (Glen) Easterling, Tim (Laura) Moeller, Greg (Mary Beth) Moeller, honorary daughter Judy (Tom) Austin; grandchildren Shelly (Vernon) Burkett, Susan Richards, Michelle (James) Martin, Joe Inman, Jill Inman, and Steve (Niki) Runion; and six great-grandchildren. Doris attended Brush College Grade School, Johns Hill Junior High and Stephen Decatur High School. She worked in accounting, real estate and sales. She was past president of Decatur AARP and member of American Business Women’s Association. She enjoyed sewing and hosting dinner parties. Her passion was serving Jesus. She traveled on a Jamaica mission trip, taught grade school and adult Sunday school, hosted home group Bible studies, started Ladies Fellowship at Life Foursquare Church in 2008 and spent many hours as a prayer warrior for friends, family and anyone in need. The family extends their gratitude to Life Foursquare Church, Dr. Kola and staff of St. Mary’s Hospital for enriching Doris’ quality of life. "
