Doris Finney

Visitation: 6:00 PM on June 30, 2011 Funeral: 9:30 AM on July 01, 2011 Doris L. Finney was released from the clutches of cancer and guided into heaven by angels to be with the Lord on June 26, 2011 at the age of 70. Doris displayed a never ending love for her husband, children and grandchildren. She always made time for her granddaughters and would go to great lengths to be with them. Doris also loved spending time with friends; working, exercising and socializing at Curves; clogging, dancing, music, fun and adventure. In her life, she displayed unending love, kindness, and generosity for everyone. She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Wayne; son Brian and his wife Leslee; daughter Diane and her husband Doug; granddaughters Abigail, Grace, Taylor and Peyton. She also leaves behind 7 sisters and 2 brothers. She is preceded in death by her parents and one brother. Funeral Mass will be 9:30 A.M., Friday, July 1, 2011, at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Decatur, IL, with visitation 6 to 8 P.M., Thursday, June 30, at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, Decatur, IL. Burial will be at 1:00 P.M., Friday, July 1, in Young America Cemetery in Hume, IL. A special loving thanks to Dr. Esparaz, the nurses and the entire DMH Cancer Care Center. In lieu of flowers, make donations in Doris' memory to the DMH Cancer Care Center. For the celebration of her life, the family requests that attendees wear bright and cheerful colors. "
