Barnes, 82, of Decatur, passed away at 6:00 P.M. on Saturday ( 01-10-2009) at Decatur Memorial Hospital, Decatur, IL.Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday (01-13-2009) at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, Decatur, IL., with visitation one hour prior to services. Burial will be at Fairlawn Cemetery, Decatur, IL.Brintlinger and Earl Funeral home are handling the arrangements.In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to D.M.H. Hospice.Doris was born on September 8, 1926 in Decatur, IL., the daughter of George R. Eaton and Elsie (Whitaker) Eaton. She married Teddy R. Barnes on January 4, 1947 in Decatur, IL. Doris enjoyed fishing, gardening, and crossword puzzles.She is survived by her husband of sixty two years Teddy of Decatur, IL.; children: Linda Whitaker of Decatur, IL.; Cindy Sutman and husband Don of Decatur, IL.; Pamela Jones and husband Rick of Decatur, IL.; Vicki Jo Schultz and husband Ralph of Decatur, IL.; and Stanley Barnes and wife Diane of Oreana, IL.; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; one sister: Jean Eaton of Decatur, IL.; and one brother: George Eaton Jr. of Winthrop Habor, IL.She was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers, and two sisters.Condolences may be left to the family at www.brintlingerandearl.com "
