Donna Kay Whitacre, 80, of Maroa, IL, passed away Monday, September 9, 2019, at McKinley Court Nursing Home, Decatur, IL. Graveside services will be 11:30 a.m., Friday, September 13, 2019, at Maroa Cemetery, Maroa, IL. Visitation will be from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m., at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, Decatur, IL, on Friday, September 13, 2019. Memorials may be made to American Diabetes Association. Donna was born August 22, 1939, in Clinton, IL, the daughter of Kenneth and Ena Louise (Smart) Stonebraker. She married James Bradford Whitacre on September 30, 1956, in Decatur, IL. He preceded her in death on April 8, 2017. Donna enjoyed going to flea markets and loved celebrating Christmas. She is survived by her daughters Diana D. Cox (husband Bruce) of Oakley, IL, Pam (Whitacre) Boulware of Decatur, IL; 4 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren; sisters Ena Marlene Gagliano of Decatur and Linda Bliss (husband Charles) of Maroa. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
