Funeral services will be 10:00 A.M., Monday, July 28, 2008, at Brintlinger & Earl Funeral Home, Decatur, IL, with visitation 5 to 8 P.M., Sunday, July 27, at the funeral home. Burial will be in Maroa Cemetery, Maroa, IL. Memorials may be made to Macon County Relay for Life (benefitting the American Cancer Society), Forsyth United Methodist Church or Forsyth Public Library.Donna was born September 8, 1946, in Clinton, IL, the daughter of Donald and Betty (Massey) McCool. She was an accounts payable supervisor at ADM, beginning her employment in November 1986 to present, serving nearly 22 years. Donna lived for her family and enjoyed activities with her grandkids. She enjoyed cooking, knitting and crocheting and had a new found love for reading. Donna was a member of Forsyth United Methodist Church.She is survived by her parents Donald and Betty McCool of Decatur, IL; children Ellen (Dan) Jansen of Champaign, IL, Becky (Mike) Younker of Forsyth, IL, Katie (Dean) Lynch of Decatur, IL, Colby Hoffman of Forsyth, IL, Megan Hoffman of Forsyth, IL; grandkids Lindsay, Jessica, Kimberly, Kaleb, Courtney, Trent, Kendahl, Lauren and Kannon; great grandchild Zane; sisters Judy Query of Yoakum, TX, Sandy (Jerry) Davenport of Forsyth, IL, Barb (Richard) Young of Maroa, IL; brother Brad (Teresa) McCool of Forsyth, IL; best friend Mary Margaret Stambaugh of Eminence, MO; many nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her grandparents Carl and Beulah Massey, Bert and Margaret McCool and infant brother Randolph Lynn.The family would like to give a special thank you to co-workers and friends at ADM, Dr. Perdekamp and staff at Cancer Care Specialist for all of their support and special caring, and to all of the loved ones who have supported and cared for her throughout her life.
