Donna Jean Canham, 66, of Decatur, IL, died Monday, July 8, 2013, at Heritage Manor in Mt. Zion, IL. Memorial services will be 2:00 p.m., Friday, July 12, 2013, at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, Decatur, IL. Family will greet friends after the service at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to American Parkinson Disease Association. Donna was born April 16, 1947 in Decatur, IL, the daughter of Carl Keith and Ardythe Mary (Snyder) Dial. She married Dr. Robert G. Canham in 1972 and he preceded her in death on August 11, 2005. Donna was a 1965 graduate of Maroa-Forsyth H.S. and graduated in 1967 from the Indiana Central College of Nursing with her R.N. degree. Donna graduated in 1972 from the DMH School of Anesthesia and became a certified nurse anesthetist and an instructor in the program. In 1983, she received her B.S.N. degree from Millikin University. Donna was a member of P.E.O. and Junior Welfare. She is survived by her daughter Monica Canham and husband Pete of Ann Arbor, MI; daughter Barbara Dubuc of Levittown, PA; sons Dr. Jeffrey R. (Jane) Canham of Decatur, Steven W. (Julie) Canham of Ann Arbor, MI; 9 grandchildren and 1 great grandson; brothers Stanley Dial of Decatur, Roger (Jan) Dial of Maroa, Bruce (Susan) Dial of Raleigh, NC; Aunt Lucille (David) Shasteen of Macon, IL; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, and husband Dr. Robert G. Canham. "Say Goodnite, Gracie". The family would like to thank Dr. Goetter, Dr. McCormack, DMH Hospice staff, Heritage Manor staff, and the 6th floor staff at DMH, especially Sarah Coulter, for the loving care and compassion given to Donna throughout her 7 year journey. "
