Donald Eugene Reynolds, 82, of Decatur, IL, passed away at 5:19 a.m. Saturday, November 7, 2015 at Imboden Creek Living Center. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, November 9, with visitation one hour prior to services at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, Decatur. Burial will be at Glenwood Cemetery, Shelbyville, IL. Memorials may be made to: New Beginnings Church of God. Mr. Reynolds was born March 2, 1933, in Shelbyville, IL, the son of Blanche (Helton) and Wilfred "Pat" Reynolds. He was a mechanic at Hazelriggs, Inc., retiring in 1995, and also a part time photographer for 15 years. He married Marjorie E. Stewardson on March 13, 1954 in Mattoon, IL. She preceded him in death on July 18, 2004. Mr. Reynolds was a member of New Beginnings Church of God, American Legion Post 105, the NRA, Soy City Coin Club, and a former member of the Illinois Photographers Association. He was a Korean War veteran serving with U.S. Army. Surviving are his children: Michael Reynolds and wife Susan, Mark Reynolds and wife Stacey, all of Decatur, IL; grandchildren: Amanda Taylor and husband Jesse, John and Michaela Reynolds; and great-granddaughter: Jeslyn Taylor. Mr. Reynolds was preceded in death by his parents and wife Marjorie. The family wishes to thank the wonderful staff at Imboden Creek Living Center and Lincolnshire Assisted Living. "
