Donald Perkins

Graveside memorial service will be held 10 AM, Saturday, July 19, 2008 at Boiling Springs Cemetery. Macon County Honor Guard will conduct military rites.Memorials have been suggested to the charity of the donors choice.Donald was born May 19, 1928 in Warrensburg, IL, the son of Ralph and Gladys Elizabeth (Miller) Perkins.He married Betty Walthal, November 8, 1952 in Ft. Riley, KS.Donald served in the U.S. Army, as a 2nd Lieutenant, from Nov. 1952 - Sept. 1953. He later worked as an accountant for Revere Copper and Brass, retiring after 37 years of service. Donald was also a member of Forsyth Methodist Church.Surviving are two sons, Daniel E. Perkins of Muscatine, Iowa, Douglas E. Perkins of Forsyth, two grandchildren Sarah and Josh and four great grandchildren.The Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home will be handling arrangements.Condolences may be left to the family at www.brintlingerandearl.com "
