Funeral services will be held 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, October 14, 2009 at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, Decatur,IL., with visitation one hour prior to service time. Burial will be at Boiling Springs Cemetery, Decatur, IL. Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home are handling the arrangements.Memorials have been made to: Alzheimers / Dementia Association.Allen was born April 3, 1952 in Decatur, IL, the son of, Donald Eugene and Margaret Bernice (Musgraves) Lowe. He married Helen Louise Dobson on September 18, 1972 in Decatur, IL. Allen worked as a grocery sacker at Cloyds Meat Market, he also worked at Essex Wire, DeKalb, and F.W. Means. He was a loyal Cub fan. He was a member of Boiling Springs Church of God and used to sing on the radio during Boiling Springs Church of God radio broadcast.Surviving are his two children, Pattie Ann Lowe of Springfield, IL., Steven Allen Lowe and wife Elissa of Decatur, IL.; father Donald E. Lowe of Decatur, IL. three sisters Victoria Diane Little of Decatur, IL., Corine Y. Lowe of Decatur, IL. Dorine Y. Lowe and partner Tina G. Bruce of Oreana, IL.; five grandchildren and extended family Debra D. Sloat of Decatur, IL. and Billy L. Little of Latham, IL. He was preceded in death by his Mother, two brothers Virgil E. Lowe and Richard Lowe. "
