Donald Dean Grossman, 84, of Terre Haute, IN and formerly of Decatur, IL, passed away June 5, 2019 at Cobblestone Crossings Health Campus surrounded by his family. Don was born on January 6, 1935, in Decatur, IL., son of Anthony and Sylvia (Copsy) Grossman. He married Nancy Spence on May 15, 1954 in Decatur, IL. They were married 54 years before Nancy’s passing in 2008. Don retired from Prairie Farms (Sunshine Dairy) in Decatur, IL where he worked as a milkman for many years. He was a member of St. Joseph University Parish in Terre Haute, IN and former member of Holy Family Parish in Decatur, IL before moving to Terre Haute, IN in February 2014. While living in Decatur, Don was also a member of the Decatur Elk’s BPOE. Don was preceded in death by his parents and stepmother, Ruth Spence, his wife Nancy, and brother Robert “Gene” Grossman. Don is survived by his sister Colleen Dobbs of Phoenix, AZ; children Kimberly Miller (Thomas) of Terre Haute, IN; Jeffrey Grossman (Laura) of Elk Grove, CA; Scott Grossman (Robin) of Elk Grove, CA; Kathleen Laukaitis (Kent) of Decatur, IL; his grandchildren Kyle Miller (Eleni); Kelley Kopczynski (Eric); Kristofer Miller; Carisa Kitselman (Todd); Erin Juarez (Javier); Julie Baldovino (Fernando); Kaitlyn Drader (Darci); Taylor Grossman; Matthew and Jordan Laukaitis; 12 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, June 14, at Holy Family Catholic Church, Decatur, IL, with visitation from 10:00 a.m. until service time. Burial will be in Macon County Memorial Park Cemetery, Harristown, IL. Memorials may be made to St. Teresa High School, Office of Development in Decatur, IL. "
