Funeral services will be 10:00 A.M., Saturday, November 27, at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, Decatur, IL. Visitation will be 6 to 8 P.M., Friday, November 26, 2010, at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, Decatur, IL. Burial will be in Point Pleasant Cemetery, Long Creek, IL.Memorials may be made to American Diabetes Association.Don was born January 22, 1922, in Stewardson, IL, the son of Lawrence Earl and Laura Edith (Foster) Grabb. He married Mary Lee Georgetta Vaughn on December 21, 1941 in St. Charles, Mo. She preceded him in death on June 26, 2010.Don was a U.S. Army veteran, serving in WWII. He worked as a millwright with Firestone for 20 years, retiring in 1988, and was owner/operator and self employed for 20 years as a mechanic. Don enjoyed fishing and riding his tractor and was a member of Masonic Lodge (Macon 8 Lodge) as a 32nd degree Mason and also a member of the Shrine.He is survived by his children Donetta Jean Anderson of Winchester, VA, Terry Wayne Grabb and wife Sue of Washington, IL, Mari Lynette Flanagan and husband Chris of Decatur, IL, Debra Annette Burke and husband Kevin of Lakewood, IL; 7 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, 1 step grandchild.He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Georgetta, great granddaughter Kylie, brother Virgil E.
