Donald Dean David, 90, of Lawrenceville, Georgia passed on March 2, 2025.
Don was born in Decatur, IL on December 20, 1934 to Marion & Ruth (Boughers) David. He graduated from Warrensburg Latham High School. Don married Suzanne Bundy June 25, 1954. He was employed by PPG, Decatur Herald & Review, Montgomery Wards, Brinkoetter Reality and Air King Heating & Air. He was a dedicated caregiver for his wife during her illness with ALS.
Don & Suzanne spent many years traveling on their Gold Wing and were life time members of the Gold Wing Riders Association. Don was also a licensed amateur radio operator. Don was a member of Rivercli ff Lutheran Church in Sandy Springs, Georgia.
Survivors include 3 daughters: Pamela Mann (James), Janet Lotz (Michael), Susan Perini (Anthony). Don leaves behind 13 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild, 1 sister (Linda Williams), and several nieces & nephews. Don was preceded in death by his parents, 1 brother, 4 sisters, 2 grandsons and 1 great granddaughter.
Don’s final resting place is at Graceland Cemetery. Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, Decatur is assisting the family with arrangements. Memorials in Don’s honor can be made to the ALS Association, 1300 Wilson Blvd. Suite 600, Arlington, VA 22209 or www.als.org.
