Funeral services will be 10:00 A.M., Friday, January 21, 2010, at First Lutheran Church, Decatur, IL, with visitation 5 to 7 P.M., Thursday, January 20, at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, Decatur, IL. Burial will be in Macon County Memorial Park, Harristown, IL. Memorials may be made to JDRF-Minnesota Chapter, 3001 Metro Blvd., Ste 100, Bloomington, MN 55425 or Autism Speaks, American Heart Association or First Lutheran Church.Dolores was born October 14, 1927 in Johnson City, IL, the daughter of Harry C. and Cleo (Crouch) Threlkeld. She married William Patrick and they were married for 49 years. He preceded her in death in 1995. In February 2000 she married Lloyd Powell in Decatur.Dolores was a member of First Lutheran Church. She worked at Adolph Meyer Mental Health Clinic, retiring in 1994, after 20 years of service. Dolores studied Sign Language and was active in the Altar Guild at her church.She is survived by her husband Lloyd Powell of Decatur, IL; sons Larry (Carol) Patrick of Plainfield, IN, Roy (Narissa) Patrick of Ocala, FL, Wes Patrick of Decatur, IL; daughters Patsy (Gary) Strader of Edwardsville, IL, Patty (Dan) Walker of Decatur, IL, Pam (Jim) Musser of Decatur, IL; son Bob (Barb) Bridgman of Glen Carbon, IL; 19 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren; sisters Ginger (Jack) Young of Decatur, IL, Glenda (Gene) Deering of Decatur, IL, Sherrie (John) Funk of Decatur, IL; numerous nieces and nephews.
