Dixie Lee Sexton, 73, of Decatur, IL, passed away at 1:50 a.m. Wednesday, March 11, 2015, in her home. Graveside services will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, March 14, in Croninger Cemetery, Cisco, IL. Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, Decatur, is assisting the family with the arrangements. Memorials may be made to: St. Thomas Catholic Church. Dixie was born November 2, 1941, in Monticello, IL, the daughter of Henry Caleb and Thresa Elizabeth (Weber) Bledsoe. She married Roger A. Sexton on September 12, 1959, in Decatur, IL. Dixie was a member of St. Thomas Catholic Church and sang in the St. Patrick Catholic Church choir for 18 years. She served on the Millikin Homestead board for 12 years. Dixie was a member of Restore Our Constitution (ROC) and was a Republican Precinct Committee Woman for 4 years. She worked as an accounting clerk for the Herald and Review for 11 years and also worked for Hartland Ag Group for 7 years. Surviving are her husband Roger of Decatur, IL; children: Thresa Crum and husband Steve of Eddyville, KY, Tracy Long, Chris Sexton, and Tony Sexton, all of Decatur, IL; grandchildren: Nicole Crum of Eustis, FL, Erin Smolich and husband Brian of Mahomet, IL, Corey Sexton of Littleton, CO, Sheldon Long of Decatur, IL, and Megan Sexton of GA; great-grandchildren: Graham Smolich and Lucy Smolich, both of Mahomet, IL; and brother: Phillip Bledsoe of Decatur, IL. Dixie was preceded in death by her parents. "
