Diana Buttrum

Diana Cecilia Buttrum, 73, of Decatur, IL, passed away Tuesday, October 30, 2018, at Memorial Medical Center, Springfield, IL. Graveside services will be 10:00 AM, Monday November 5 at Illini Cemetery, Warrensburg, IL. Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, Decatur, IL, will be handling the arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Promise Land Ministries in Warrensburg, IL. Diana was born December 5, 1944, in Decatur, IL, the daughter of Robert L. and Julia Katherine (Sawyer) Dodwell. She married Morris G. Buttrum on April 4, 1981 in Decatur, IL and he preceded her in death on September 25, 2016. Diana was a member of Promise Land Ministries in Warrensburg and was active in her church. She worked as manager at Ronnie’s Bar and also groomed dogs. Diana loved raising animals, gardening, and especially loved being with her family. She is survived by her children Angie (Eric) Sessions of Clinton, Doug Hathaway of Decatur, Anthony (Amy) Buttrum of Illiopolis; grandchildren Trent Hathaway, Michael Hathaway, Taylor Hathaway, Felicyti Wright, Elizabeth Devore, Chase Sessions, Bobbi Hensley; great grandchildren Landon & Ryker; sister Linda L. Wilson of Collinsville, IL; niece Katie Voudre and great nieces Hannah, Ela, Asher. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Morris, sons Mike Hathaway and Dick Hathaway.
