Dial Rasar, 62, of Decatur, IL, passed away Tuesday, August 1, 2017, at Decatur Memorial Hospital.Celebration of Life services will be held at a later date.Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, Decatur, IL, will be assisting the family.Dial was born September 11, 1954, in Decatur, IL, the son of Dial D. and Wilena (Slaughter) Rasar. He married Nadine Poling in April 1997 in Decatur, IL.Dial worked for Norfolk & Southern Railroad for 41 years as an Engineer. He loved hunting deer and turkey, fishing, being outdoors, and spending time with his family and grandchildren.He is survived by his wife Nadine of Decatur; son Aron Rasar of Decatur; daughters Amber (Jansen) Haun of Metamora, Crystal Watts of Decatur; grandchildren Mackenzie, Morgan, Taylor, Grayson, Landon, Brady, Maddox, Scarlet, Jami; sister Barb (Jim) Collins of Macon.He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.Dial will be missed by all who knew him. "
