Denise Robertson

Denise Christine Robertson, 51, of Bethany, IL, formerly of Decatur, IL, passed away Thursday, July 4, 2013, at St. Mary's Hospital, Decatur, IL. A Memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, August 10, at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, Decatur, with a Memorial visitation from 1:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Wounded Warrior Project, or American Diabetes Association, or American Cancer Society. Denise was born November 11, 1961, in Gary, IN, the daughter of Jerald and Barbara (Lee) Ray. She married Mike Robertson. Denise worked as an administrative assistant in the financial planning and insurance industry. She was a wonderful person whose favorite time was spent with her family. Denise was a fantastic cook, loved to read, enjoyed boating and traveling in their R.V. all over the countryside. She is survived by her husband Mike; sons Justin Wilhoit of Aurora, IL, Jerod Wilhoit of Naperville, IL, Derek (Carolyn) Weeks of Traverse City, MI; daughters Jourdan Wilhoit of Naperville, IL, Gillian (Joel) Prepejchal of Makanda, IL; grandchildren Jackson Wilhoit of Aurora, IL, Auriel & Drake Prepejchal of Makanda, IL, Donovan & Lindsey Weeks of Traverse City, MI; parents Mr. and Mrs. Jerald (Barbara) Ray of Decatur, AL; brother Jeff (Patricia) Ray of Decatur, AL; sisters Deborah (Mitchell) Steenrod of Knoxville, TN, Leslie (David) Bydalek of Greenwood, IN.
