Delores Jones

Delores E. Jones, 83, of Decatur, IL, passed away at 10:47 a.m. Monday, February 27, 2012, at Imboden Creek Living Center, Decatur. Funeral services will be 1:00 P.M., Thursday, March 1, 2012, at Brintlinger & Earl Funeral Home, Decatur, with visitation one hour prior to service time at the funeral home. Burial will be in Point Pleasant Cemetery, Long Creek, IL. Memorials may be made to Life Foursquare Church Building Fund. Delores was born May 1, 1928, in Centralia, IL, the daughter of Oliver Franklin and Meda C. (Bizot) Thornton. She married Albert Truman Jones in Marshall, MI, in 1948. He preceded her in death. Delores attended Life Foursquare Church in Decatur. Delores is survived by her children Chyrl S. (Tom) Armer of Mt. Zion, IL, Terry Lee T. (Linda) Jones of Dalton City, IL, Albert Steven (Sheryl) Jones of Niantic, IL, Roger A. (Karla) Jones of Decatur, IL, and Debra L. (Jim) Beckett of Decatur, IL; stepdaughter Pam Connelly of Byron Center, MI; twelve grandchildren, two step grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren, 5 step great grandchildren; sisters Norma Heuser of Decatur, IL, and Violet M. Boliard of Staunton, IL; and several nieces and nephews. Delores was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two sisters, and two brothers. "
