Debra Taute

Debra K. Taute, 58, of Decatur, died 6:18 AM , Saturday, June 26, 2010 at her residence. Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Wednesday, June 30, 2010 at St. Johns Lutheran Church, Decatur. Visitation will be from 5 - 8 PM Tuesday at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, and from noon till service time at the church on Wednesday. Burial will be at Boiling Springs Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the family.Debra was born June 10, 1952 in Clinton, IL, the daughter of Robert Eugene and Beverly Jane ( Rozzell ) Anderson. She married Steve Taute, June 10, 1972 in Golden, IL.Debra was a teacher assistant at Robertson Charter School and District # 61. She enjoyed scrapbooking, reading and family athletic events. She was a member of St. Johns Lutheran Church, and a graduate of Stephen Decatur High School. Debra received her associates degree from Richland Community College.Debra is survived by her husband,Steve; mother and father, three children Kurt Taute and wife Michelle of Chicago, IL, Heather Short and husband Kevin of Decatur, IL, Nicholas Taute and wife Amy of Decatur, IL; siblings Diana Denny of Clarksville, IN, Barbara Foil and husband Mark of Mt. Zion, IL, Bob Anderson and wife Kathy of Dalton City, IL, Jayne Hanley and husband Jeff of Monticello, IL; grandchildren Tiffany, Morgan and Alex Short, Abigail and Ada Taute; father-in-law Edward Taute; brother-in-laws James Taute and wife Patricia of Golden, IL, Donald Taute of LaPrairie, IL; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.Debra was preceded in death mother-in-law Arlene Taute and her grandparents.
