Debra Lindbeck

Debra Ann Lindbeck, 67, died at her home in Decatur, Illinois on June 6th, 2021. Debra was born April 4th, 1954 in Decatur, Illinois, the daughter of Eugene and Hazel (Dawson) Heger. Debra played many roles of taking care of others. She worked as a caregiver, at the YMCA, and at Northgate Pet Clinic. She also worked at Borg-Warner in Decatur. She loved animals and enjoyed ceramic painting. After suffering a disability from a broken spine in her 20’s, Debra never let that stop her from walking, even though the doctors told her she would never walk again. She is survived by her son, Brian Lindbeck of Scotland, United Kingdom; brothers, William (Rose) Heger of Little Rock, Arkansas, Benett (Josie) Heger of Tucson Arizona, and Mike (Sharon) Heger of Decatur Illinois. She was preceded in death by her father, Eugene Heger; and mother Hazel (Dawson) Heger. "
