Dawn Marie (Austin) Briggs, 33, of Decatur, IL passed away at 10:10 a.m. Sunday, July 28, 2013 at St. John's Hospital, Springfield, IL. Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Thursday, August 1, at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, Decatur. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery, Decatur. Memorials may be made to the charity of donor's choice. Dawn was born December 20, 1979, in Decatur, IL, the daughter of Robert Steven and Judith Ann (Crutchfield) Austin. She married Troy Briggs in Decatur. He preceded her in death. Dawn was formerly on the board of staff at SAIL. Surviving are her grandmother Wilma Marie Austin; sisters Heather Ann Austin and Candaice Judith Austin; brother Robert Steven Austin, all of Decatur, IL; several nieces and nephews; and best friend Josh Fulmer. Dawn was preceded in death by her husband Troy and grandfather Robert Glen Austin. "
