David Randall Hoffman

David Randall “Randy” Hoffman, 74, of Decatur, Illinois, died Sunday, September 6, 2026, at Springfield Memorial Hospital.
A graveside service is scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Friday, September 11, 2026, at Point Pleasant Cemetery in Decatur. Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, Decatur, is assisting the family.
Randy was born in Decatur on February 28, 1952, to Edward and Evelyn (Marsh) Hoffman.
He spent several years working as a farm laborer and belonged to Cerro Gordo Masonic Lodge #600 A.F. & A.M. Randy enjoyed collecting items of interest and sharing good meals.
He is survived by his brothers, Ronald (Janet) Hoffman and Tim (Laura) Hoffman; and by his nieces and nephews, Karen (Matt) Dugan, Jennifer (Joe) Little, Alex Hoffman, and Samantha Evans.
His parents preceded him in death.
