David Duncan

David James Duncan 59, of Decatur, Illinois died July 13, 2013 due to injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday July 17, 2013 at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home with visitation 5 to 8 p.m Tuesday July 16th at the funeral home. Graveside service will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at Hillcrest Cemetery, Sandoval, IL David was born February 6, 1954 in Centralia, IL the son of James Edgar and Mary (Jones) Duncan. He married Marcia Johnston September 8, 1973 and they have one child Curtis Duncan. Wife, Marcia and parents preceded David in death. David was a member of Prairieland ABATE. He retired from Tate & Lyle after 39 years, and was a member of Union-United Steelworkers bargaining committee 33/34 warehouse. He was very proud of his Scottish heritage and loved his motorcycle. David loved his family and friends and will be missed by all who loved him. - Disce Pati - "
