CUSTOM DEATH NOTICE David Eugene Dunaway, 72, of Decatur, IL., passed away Saturday (September 27, 2008) at 11:04 A.M. at Decatur Memorial Hospital.Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Tuesday (September 30, 2008) at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church Forsyth, IL., with visitation one hour prior to service time at the church. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery, Decatur, IL.Memorials can be made to: Our Redeemer Lutheran Church.David was born on March 25, 1936 in Decatur, IL., the son of Noah and Marguerite (York) Dunaway. He married Janet Janetzky in 1955.He served in the National Guard in the late 1950's. David worked for the Mississippi Valley Structural Steel Company for twenty eight years as a Structural Steel Draftsmen and has been a self-employed Structural Steel Contract Draftsman since 1985. He is survived by his wife Janet Dunaway of Decatur, IL.; son: Mark Dunaway and wife Pam of Olathe, KS.; daughter: Vicky Niles and husband Tim of Warrensburg, IL.; brothers: John Dunaway and wife Caroline of Sterling, IL.; Fred Dunaway of Decatur, IL.; Walter Dunaway of Phoenix, AZ.; Jerry Dunaway of Florida; sister: Mary Ann Cloud and husband Don of Melvin, IL.; two grandchildren: Daphne and Riley Dunaway.He was preceded in death by his parents: Noah Dunaway and Marguerite (York) (Dunaway) Shepherd.Condolences may be left to the family at www.brintlingerandearl.com "
