Darrell Howard Miller, 79, of Hammond, IL, passed away Monday, November 21, 2016, at The Arthur Home, Arthur, IL.Funeral services will be Friday, November 25, 2016 at 12:00 noon in Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, Cerro Gordo, IL, with visitation two hours prior to service time at the funeral home. Burial will be in Cerro Gordo Cemetery, Cerro Gordo, IL. Memorials may be made to The Arthur Home, 423 Eberhardt Drive, Arthur, IL 61911. Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, Cerro Gordo is handling the arrangements.Darrell was born September 21, 1937 in Hammond, IL, the son of George Howard and Gladys (Zartman) Miller. He married Jane Hupp on July 8, 1960 in Forsyth, IL.Darrell retired from Mueller Company after 31 years of service. He enjoyed fishing, and watching NASCAR, especially Dale Earnhardt, Sr. He especially enjoyed watching his grandchildren play sports.He is survived by his wife Jane of 56 years; children Russell Miller of Valparaiso, IN, Randy (Leah) Miller of Decatur, Ron (Michelle) Miller of Hammond; grandchildren Jake Cylie, Rushelle, Max, Alexandria, Mycaela, Reagan.He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Marilyn Ritchie, and a sister in infancy.
