Darlene "Red" Karcher, 66, of Decatur died at 1:20 PM, Friday, March 16, 2012 at St. Mary's Hospital, Decatur, IL. Memorial graveside service will be 2:00 P.M., Monday, March 26, 2012 at North Fork Cemetery, Decatur, IL. Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, Decatur, IL, will be handling the arrangements. Darlene was born October 27, 1945 in Decatur, IL, the daughter of Orville (Betty) Mansfield and Dorothy (Ed) Duvall Lentz. Darlene enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and loved having visitors. Darlene is survived by her daughter Susan (Tim) Walker and son Wayne (Gail) Karcher both of Decatur, IL sisters, Judy Mc Millan and Vicky (Richard) Goodbrake both of Decatur, IL three grandchildren, Jennifer (Brandon) Hayes, Cody (Laci) Walker, Kurtis (Chelsea) Walker, and four great-grandchildren Nicholas, Cameron, Eli, and Lucas, and special friend Buzz Henry. Preceding in death are Darlene's parents and brother, Larry. "
