Daniel J. Senger, 57, of Cerro Gordo, IL, passed peacefully in his sleep at 8:35 p.m., Sunday, September 22, 2013, at Decatur Memorial Hospital, Decatur, IL, with his family at his side. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Thursday, September 26, 2013, at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, Decatur, IL, with visitation 6 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, September 25, at the funeral home. Burial will be in Macon County Memorial Park, Harristown, IL. Memorials may be made to the family. Daniel was born September 13, 1956, in Decatur, IL, the son of Joseph Peter and Rose (Durbin) Senger. He married Lois Williams on August 21, 1981 in Decatur, IL. Daniel worked at the ADM East Plant as an operator for 28 years. He enjoyed watching NASCAR racing on TV, riding his Harley-Davidson motorcycle and especially spending time with his grandchildren, family, and friends. He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Lois of Cerro Gordo; children: Chris Senger of Macon, IL, Jeremy Senger of Decatur, Tyson Senger of Decatur, Jeff (Ashley) Senger of Decatur; grandchildren: Sydney, Tristan, and Ava Senger; step-grandchildren: Aaliyah Long and Jayse Pickett; sisters: Rosanne (Jack) Reidner of Ogden, IL, Theresa (Ron) Richards of Hastings, NE, Lenora "Nora" (Dan) Reed of Maroa, IL, Mary (Bob) McGlade of Decatur. He was preceded in death by his parents: Joseph and Rose Senger, brother: Anthony Peter Senger, and one granddaughter: Morgan Leigh Senger. "
