Daniel Nathan Dobbs

Our dearly loved Dan Dobbs was born on November 19, 1978, and passed away on May 14, 2026.

Dan believed in Jesus. He was a HVAC tech for many years and known for his hard work and dedication to his craft. Dan lived with his Aunt Darla in Colorado as a young adult and developed a love for the Denver Broncos and Colorado Avalanche. He loved driving his car through the mountains and listening to music. As a loving dad, brother and son he is

greatly missed.

Dan is survived by his daughter Makenzie Hope- the love of his life; mom Diane; sister Bethany; brother-in-law Ray; Aunt Connie, Uncle Don, Uncle Mike, Aunt Nancy; nieces and nephew Whitney, Cayden, Samantha and Eva; cousins Angela and Jason; and Makenzie's mom Dareth.

He was preceded in death by his dad Rick Dobbs, aunt Darla Dobbs, grandparents Wayne and Joan Dobbs, Kenny and Eva Lotzgesell, Harold and Mabel McKinney, cousin John Nein, and his beloved dog Sincere.

Services will be on June 13,2026 at Maroa Cemetery with visitation from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. and service at 2:00 p.m. at the cemetery. Memorials may be made to animal welfare charity of choice. Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, in Decatur, is assisting the family with the arrangements.
