Daniel Copeland

Daniel A. Copeland, 62, of Taylorville, IL, formerly of Cerro Gordo, IL, died Tuesday, September 11, 2012, at the V.A. Hospital in Indianapolis, IN. A private family memorial service will be held at a later date. Cremation rites will be accorded. Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, Cerro Gordo, IL will be handling the arrangements. Daniel was born February 19, 1950, in Decatur, IL, the son of Donald and Margaret (Fisher) Copeland. He was a U.S. Army veteran, serving in Vietnam. He was a member of the American Legion in Cerro Gordo, IL. He is survived by his sisters Linda Forbes and husband Douglas of Wisconsin, Tina Krigbaum and husband Bill of Decatur, IL; brothers Donald Copeland of Decatur, IL, Douglas Copeland of Taylorville, IL, Joseph and wife Becky Copeland of Robinson, IL; and his caretakers, niece Melissa Westerfield, great niece Brandi Mears, nephew Thomas Krigbaum and several more nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Dennis "Scott" Copeland, and sister-in-law Ellen Copeland. "
