Cora Seitz

Cora Mae Seitz, 95, of Lincoln, IL, died 5:14 A.M., Wednesday, October 24, 2012, at Decatur Memorial Hospital, Decatur, IL. Visitation will be 4 to 7 P.M., Monday, October 29, 2012, at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, Decatur, IL. Private family interment will be at a later date in North Fork Cemetery, Decatur, IL. Memorials may be made to Castle Manor in Lincoln, IL. Cora was born August 5, 1917 in Prairie Town, IL, the daughter of Chester Luther and Clara Mary (Hertel) Clark. She married Ralph Abraham Seitz on December 25, 1936, in Decatur, IL. Cora was a member of the Body of Christ Church in Buffalo, IL and formerly a member of North Fork Presbyterian Church. She worked as a nurses aid at Woodland Nursing Home in Mt. Zion, and Vonderleith in Mt. Pulaski, and was also an In-Home Caregiver. She is survived by her daughter Janet Sarver and husband Denny of Maricopa, AZ; son Melvin Seitz and wife Evelyn of Mt. Pulaski, IL; grandchildren Michael & Jill, Jody & Mark; 8 great grandchildren and 7 great great grandchildren; sister Louise Clark of Portales, NM. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Ralph, three brothers and four sisters. "
