Funeral service will be 1:00 PM Tuesday, January 25, 2011 at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home. Visitation will be 4 - 7 PM Monday at the Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home. State St., Monticello, IL 61856.Connie was born October 13, 1938 in Freeland, MI, the daughter of Glenn and Karleen (Grise) Ballinger. . She retired from the Clinton Illinois Power Plant.Connie enjoyed time with her family and grandchildren and was an avid Chicago Bears fan.She is survived by her sister, Sonja Summers of Janesville, MN; her children, Tina (Mike) Bennett of Atlanta, GA, Nina (Scot)Westray of Monticello, IL Sue (John) Fitzgerald of Decatur, IL; Todd (Josie) Baker of Monticello; IL grandchildren Cale and Erika Leisner; Josh Westray and fianc Kaylin Stoddard; Ayla and Ryan Meece; Allison Fitzgerald, Johnny Fitzgerald, Jeffrey Fitzgerald and Meredith Fitzgerald; Nino Baker and Rosa Baker.Connie was preceded in death by her parents, and her sister- Sandra Augustine.
