Cleve “Bud” Buster Huff Sr., 75, of Argenta, IL., passed away on January 27, 2024.
A Celebration of Cleve’s Life will be held at a later date.
Cleve was born on September 4, 1948 to Hollie Huff and Goldie (Redmond) Huff in Pennington Gap, Virginia. Cleve married the love of his life, Kathy Patton, on December 20, 1974. He worked at Wagner Castings Company for 37 ½ years. He then went on to work for ADM Trucking, where he then retired from.
He is survived by his loving wife, Kathy Huff: 3 children: Cleve B. Huff Jr. (Michelle), Robbie E. Huff, and Lisa Huff; 6 grandchildren: Kristien, Hunter, Jasmine, Cleve III, Hayden, and Blake; and 2 great-grandchildren: Trysten and Paisley. Cleve is also survived by his brother, Jim Huff (Irene); 3 sisters: Barb Huff, Carol Mouser (Harold), and Deanna Patton; brother-in-law, Larry Dahlkoetter; along with several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Cleve loved the outdoors. He enjoyed fishing, boating, camping, hunting, and working on the farm. Most of all, he loved to help his family and spend time with them.
He is preceded in death by his parents; siblings: Glen Huff, Beatrice Stevens, and two infant brothers, William and Clyde Huff; 2 sisters-in-law: Sue Dahlkoetter and Linda Huff; along with a brother-in-law, Kenny Patton.
He will be missed.
