Cleona Stewart

Memorial services will be held in Spring 2009. Memorials may be made to Grace United Methodist Church. Brintlinger & Earl Funeral Home, Decatur, IL, will be handling the arrangements.Cleona was born September 28, 1915, in Centralia, IL, the daughter of Cleon and Anna Pearl (Boyle) Frost. She married Walter P. Bud Stewart on November 28, 1935 in Greenville, IL. He preceded her in death.Cleona was a 50 year member of Grace United Methodist Church and a member of D.A.R. She worked for Plums Apparel as Office Clerk and also worked for Decatur Credit Bureau. Since 1960 she was a homemaker and helped raise her grandchildren and great grandchildren and loved them deeply. She is survived by her daughters Karen Kay (Mike) Wisdom of Decatur, Sharon (Chuck) Lilly of Lake Ozark, MO; sister Margery (Dr. Walter) Meyer of Jacksonville, IL; grandchildren Kim (John) Hofer of Oak Ridge, TN, Kurt Alexander of Decatur, IL; stepgrandchildren Denise Goss of Saline, MI, Carlie Wisdom and Chase Wisdom of Bloomington, IL; great grandchildren Ashley Hofer and Kaylie Hofer of Oak Ridge, TN, Zach Alexander of Decatur, IL; step great grandchildren Heather Goss of Saline,MI, Ava Wisdom of Bloomington, IL.She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son Walter P. Skip Stewart II, and four brothers. "
