Christopher Lee Colbeck, 37, of Decatur, IL, died Saturday, August 27, 2011. Memorial services will be 4:00 P.M., Sunday, September 4, 2011, at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, Decatur, IL. Memorials may be made for Chris Colbeck, c/o Buena Vista Bank. Chris was born January 16, 1974. Surviving are his mother, Caroline; brothers, Keith and Tim; son, Patrick; daughter, Caitlynn; granddaughter, Destini; and family of friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Ron; grandparents, Jack and Thelma Ward. Some people follow blindly along while others take the road less traveled. Chris blazed his own path through life and in doing so, he illuminated the world to all who knew him. "
