Cheryl Songer, 55, of Cerro Gordo, IL, passed away Tuesday, June 27, 2017, at Decatur Memorial Hospital.Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m., Friday, June 30, 2017, at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, Decatur, IL, with visitation 5 to 8 p.m., Thursday, June 29, at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, Decatur, IL. Burial will be in Croninger Cemetery, Cisco, IL. Memorials may be made to Maranatha Forge Student Ministries.Cheryl was born July 23, 1961 in Decatur, IL, the daughter of Jimmie L. and Betty A. (Jendry) Turner. She married Steve Songer on December 8, 1984 in Decatur, IL.Cheryl was a member of Maranatha Assembly of God.She is survived by her husband Steve of 32 years; father and mother Jimmie and Betty of Decatur; siblings Mike (Yonogi) Turner of Richmond, VA, Noreen (Larry) Peck of Decatur, Gary Turner of Mt. Zion, Shawn (Sarah) Turner of Wapella; brother-in-law Mike (Becky) Songer of Merritt Island, FL; sister-in-law Teresa Songer of Cerro Gordo, Julie (Greg) Cope of Merritt Island, FL, Jill (Troy) Dodson of Cerro Gordo; and several nieces and nephews.
