Cheryl O'Neill

Cheryl Lynn O’Neill, 73, of Decatur, IL, passed away Monday, May 20, 2019, at Generations at McKinley Place, Decatur, IL. Inurnment will be in Macon County Memorial Park, Harristown, IL at a later date. Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, Decatur, will be handling the arrangements. Memorials may be made to Alzheimer’s Association. Cheryl was born June 22, 1945, in Doniphan, MO, the daughter of Michael Edward and Alta Lee (Payne) O’Neill. She worked at Caterpillar, Inc. as a forklift driver. Cheryl loved mowing the yard and enjoyed polishing her car. She is survived by her brother Denny O’Neill of Decatur; long time companion Louise McBride of Decatur; and 6 nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, and brother Craig S. O’Neill. The family would like to give special thanks to Heartland Manor Care and Generations at McKinley Place for their loving care and compassion given to Cheryl. "
